And the dailies keep on spinning

You just have to find interesting things to do when you are doing the same things every day, so chasing achievements is what we are doing…some times…when we remember 🙂 Nothing much has been happening other than just playing with toons and keeping busy with the huge amount of stuff I still want to get done before any new xpacs.

“Dog pile” to get started, wish I had a picture of 30 mobs on me and arcane explosion going off!  I have to get the one with the field of fire/swords, but I honestly have no idea how i am going to do that one…more investigation needed on that front. You have to do it and take no damage?? Whaaaa????

I also scored a shado-pan achievement I didn’t even know was there! I love the surprise ones the best! Yes, I felt incapable of trimming my dragon out – that would be blasphemy!

We also finally decided to get this dinosaur, Eros, killed, it has been in our  logs for a few weeks as he was killing us really quickly when we attempted it last time we decided to leave it until we had better gear or an actual group.  We happened upon someone mid kill and decided to help him out with it, turns out he was willing to do it a second time for us as well.  It was an awful fight and I am dreading doing the  next part which requires us to summon another 4 mobs!!  Anyhoo, shout out to Candaris on our server for helping and being awesome enough to help us with the kill.  You are super special and we really appreciated it!

I have created a little lowbie Tauren monk to run around on with the frostiness, being sick with shingles as I am, I am pretty tired and effort required to play at 90 is more than I can handle.no idea how far I will go with it, but it gives me something to just veg with.

 

Sweet weapon and general maintenance

I realised I had not handed in my Wrathion quest after picking up the Chimera of Fear, so I trundled off to do that and discovered things about our leader I think is awfully sexy :p cage match anyone?? But also, he may not be the best person to lead the Alliance…or is he??  I felt he handled the situation with Garrosh well, but I would have preferred to see him slaughter in that lovely cinematic, but I can’t be mad at Thrall for stopping that…I have a soft spot for him.

The creation of a jewel was pretty cool as well, I loved how he added everything to it…such power!!

I am now up to the quest section that requires me to collect Valor points, so I basically will be spending the next few weeks just doing dailies/dungeons to make it happen.  Hubby needed the LFR as well as he didn’t realise he already had all the sigils he needed  So we jumped back there (we are now up to the same section of the quest!) and I was using my golden coins of fortune to roll for loot….I had more than 20 (I had some boxes in my bags that I couldn’t empty) so even though I was not able to receive loot from the usual method, rolling gave me loot.  Cheating??  maybe?

Anyway I scored weapons..every time…one cloak…but weapons and weapons and more weapons; one of them was this hot as hell dragonesque looking sword!!!  Which I stuck my brand new Sha crystal into from Wrathion…I will never get rid of this sword, and in fact I am thinking I may need to design an outfit to suit it…I love it….I had only just decided to get rid of my offhand and use a staff as well….but the second I saw this…I knew the staff was gone and my umbrella was back , until I find a replacement…must look up offhands that I can purchase with points somewhere…

Also discovered in my travels about the Exalted Tillers daily quests for other factions..oh my awesome!!!  I am doing Shado pan and August Celestials daily at the moment including their quests to help me get there faster.  I am still miles off being revered with either of them, but every little bit helps I am sure. If I can get her to revered and pick up the rep token it will make it much easier on my pally to start doing dailies and earning some rep and money.  I will try and log onto her this week and start getting some funds up…I can’t even afford to run LFD at this stage, no repair money, so I might just go DPS,  grab dailies and go crazy, it doesn’t take much to gather some gold that way.

On a side note, I don’t know what happened on my mage, but I have started to improve my DPS on her…on the LFR we were in I was doing in the realm of 120 – 140k consistently, of course not during the periods of crazy moving etc…I dropped to just above 100k, which I still think is ok.  I did some reading and found out 3 very valuable things…I was casting frostbolt occasionally…which is bad bad bad bad…I was also wasting a glyph spot for that and I was not using Alter Time properly. Now that I have corrected those two minor things it seems to be much better.  I am still not sure how it could change it that much…but I am not going to argue with maths and proof :p

I do need to spend some time with my boomy now that I have changed her stats around and see if it improves me or if i still suck at the gameplay aspect 🙂  It really could just be that I can’t play the spec. Of course I would be devastated, but life isn’t always fair is it? hehehe

 

Enjoy the little things

I have been doing my best since I got back to enjoy the little things.  Pandaria seems to be the continent if you want to fill your bags with completely novelty items.  I am nearly at 50 items which do/summon/alter things and I am not entirely sure I have time to play with the all.  My favourite is still my rainbow generator though!!  They should make it upgradeable for current content!

But on current content, I have sen so many cool things, pink skellies, terribly ugly taxi services, outfits and birds that attack, plus so many others that I forgot to take images of.  But here are some of my favourites 🙂

Stupid quest took me far too long to do, but I liked how it showed us actually carrying things.  I thought it was cute 🙂

The roll club – I scored the achievement on my first ever run on the quest, I love this quest – it is fun, different and just that little bit looney, however since my fantastic first ever run through

I can’t stay on the damn ramp….

I am the little pink dot in the centre….not that you can tell at high speed down a hill…but I have to do it about 3 times before I can manage to stay on track, I must be over thinking it?

And the most awesome – I FINALLY got that stupid chest under the stupid ropes!!!  Would you believe as I got onto the platform the game DC’d me, so lucky that I was behind the pillar and jumping to it with my mount or I would have had to go around again.  So damn happy I finally got this one!

I think that is more than enough at the moment, but just so you know…I have many many many more pictures…I am being crazy about making sure I remember all the things we forget to enjoy in the game.  What bits have you been enjoying or trying to appreicate?

So much going on!!

So after multiple friends telling me head to the Timeless Isle as it was a gear festapalooza, I felt determined to do so.

I didn’t realise at the time WTF they were talking about, as I had been there (without paying attention to the name) and had died many many many times, and didn’t really spend any “quality” time there.  I later discovered though on my return trip (after being convinced to try it again) it is goddamn heaven!!!  HEAVEN I tells you!!!

After finally figuring out I should be looking for treasure, I got a little crazy and managed to pick up almost 7 pieces of cloth gear in the first couple of hours.   My girl went from having an ilevel of about 450 to almost 470 very quickly.  Whilst there I managed to steal some Celestial kills and I scored a Tier piece!! Sweet as!!!  I didn’t join the raid group just fired some shots at the mobs to see what happened and how quickly they could kill me  – Fast is the answer to that query.  That crane….every single time!!

So after trolling around I did manage to score this sweet little thing as well:

I had not realised I had managed to do them all.  I do love that Zahyrm the ghost skull is in the cave, that was cool 🙂 I hate that I cannot get to the crate after walking the ropes…Stupidly – I can do the ropes without even coming close to having an issue…but do you think I can – for the life of me – land on the damn platform with the box?!!??!?  GAHHHH!!!   I have iceblocked soooo many damn times now it is not funny!

I have been doing it simply so I can get into some yummy LFR goodness!!  I can’t wait to see some of the raids and experience the content. I know, LFR isn’t the “real” thing, but it is bloody close to it and given my shift work – it will be about the only thing I can commit to!!

I also reacquainted myself with my garden and had fun finding where the dailies were and was shocked to see the area near the main town destroyed!!  Just messed up – I actually really enjoyed those dailies 😦

 

 

I think i got bored…

then I woke up and remembered how much more I have to get done in game.

Yes, I have WoW dreams. I also have dreams about Glee and karate.  I have “How to train your Dragon” dreams.

Life is sort of just chugging along at the moment, hubby and I have quested through Vash’j and Uldum on our shammy/pally combo – I think I have managed to get paid about 6k for all my questing in those 2 sections – including some LFD runs.

Well worth it to get the questing done I think.

I have been slowly improving on my shammy.  I am having the same issue on her though as my rogue.  I am just not used to not actually pressing buttons. It feels very unnatural to just let weapon damage occur – hopefully it won’t take too much longer to get used to it.

Hubby is turning into a very good tank 🙂  We have really only had one arse in a run and he spent more time talking than healing and then wondered why hubby was taking so much damage, then started bitching about that. Had he shut up and actually done his job it wouldn’t have been an issue, almost turned the hubby off the job. Tanking is a shit job in LFD though because people just abuse you without even giving you half a chance.

We have a guild website up now, you should check it out!  We are still adding bits and pieces to it 😀  I may be bringing my pally over, so we can do a raid next week – if we don’t find a tank by then of course, but i hope I don’t need to :p

Heirlooms are the shizz!

I am going to put it out there right now, if you are trying to level alts and you haven’t got them kitted out with full heirlooms, you are nuts!!

I am luckily in a 25 level guild so I get the perks as well, added to the 4 pieces of heirloom gear whih provide XP bonuses and  the levelling is insanely fast!

I have been playing my priest today I logged on at about 10.30am at level 51 and I am over halfway to 56 at 2.40pm.

I would be going faster except I am levelling at work and have phones to answer, however this is awesome!  I would love to be running dungeons as I think that would slaughter my xp as well, I may try and do a run shortly and see if i get interrupted :0) I don’t want to take the risk that someone comes into the actual shop for help.

The point is – get yourself the heirlooms! Use your darkmoon faire or justice points or gold or whatever you can and wear them!

Paladin and druid levelling

I transferred my pally to AT again, and have spent today levelling her, she is almost 83…probably Wednesday night.  I would have been there tonight however I was needed for raiding and lost myself a couple of hours 😀

I have enjoyed playing her immensely, I had forgotten how much to be honest.  I am levelling her as prot as I figure that will give me the best experience and also the chance to get some tanking gear as I go.  They have changed pallies so much since I last played and I am trying to learn the class all over again – it is fun though and adds some interest to the class for me.

My druid is also making progress, she is 23 and I am having fun going through all the new quests in the area.  It makes questing so much easier when you haven’t done them before but know the areas well enough that you can move around pretty quickly.

So pally should be 85 by the ed of the week and hopefully will throw some tanking practice in there, the following week.  I am so excited at the idea of tanking again.

This picture is just some of the fun I had whilst questing today…I was checking out the molten front and doing some quests when i jumped through the portal and didn’t think I needed to click….yeah, kind of ran straight off the edge of the cliff and was free falling for a very long time 😀  I had to giggle at myself for seriously missing the cog entirely…

Oh how your siren song pulls me back in!

So I am home sick with a bug and what do you think I spent the entire day doing? Aside from a lunch and dinner break….yeah you guessed it..I was sucked in my quests and achievements and the siren song (which is funny as I did a quest about a siren song yesterday).

It was a massive day and I got so many achievements and saw many cool things. I am going to be splitting this post into 2 for ease 😀
