Hubby and I have been wanting to do this achievement for a while and although it is simple as cake (which is a lie!!) we just hadn’t done it.
The panda cinematic was, like all the others, superb and really sucked me into the land of dragons!!! This felt like something we NEEDED to do. Poor crooked Incense holder. All broken and down trodden by Orcs and Humans and their race wars.
But after a few seconds worth of effort we restored the balance! Isn’t it a stunning visual??

I have barely been online this past week due to things..just random things, but things nonetheless.
Our guild got to level 10, I missed it sadly, but I was there for our level 11 ding! YAY!
I also discovered, stupidly slow again, that there is no cap on the dailies anymore. I knew it was happening but didn’t think to check as I thought it was a MoP thing. So I spent one day going nuts with the dailies and then haven’t done them since. I must get another couple of days done, on a couple of different toons, I want to have more money saved up for MoP.
My shammy managed to beg a couple of runs with the guild and now has enough gear to get into the twilight heroics, however, I am a little meh about playing her as enhancement…I shall see how it goes though, I am missing totems, it was what I played the class for. Apparently Elemental is the way to go!
I am certain my levelling experience through MoP will be my mage, druid, paladin, warrior. The last two being interchangable depending on time factors etc. In previous expacs I went nuts with my mage doing everything possible before worrying about the next, however there is no demand for that this time so I will just get them to 90 and spend time alternating on them. Aside from raiding requirements on my mage of course 🙂
I will probably level a monk with the frosties so I have a healer/tanking toon over there, rather than just a tank.
I am going away this weekend as well, so will be MIA a little bit, hopefully will get online tonight for a run of some kind, and a scenario or two 🙂 I can’t wait to see it!!!
This is the last week in cataclysm, and I am sad and happy and excited and nervous and so many emotions. As alway,s I get emotional when it comes to this game. I love it. I love the world and I love the story. I am amazed that people have created this just for my pleasure 🙂 I could think of nothing better than spending my days playing this game and just chilling out with my pets and dragons and oomkins 🙂
I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I have never had a problem with the changes or things that Blizzard do to this game. So far, each time has been better with awesome changes and more fun. I can’t wait for Pandaria and I am just excited to be blogging through another xpac!!

I had not been raiding for an entire week. ONE WEEK! I was having withdrawals until last night when I got pulled into a full DS run by some friends 🙂 We did Mor’chok heroic and that was about it, the rest we ran like manics through. I felt so good afterwards…just having been in a raid was enough to satisfy me for a few days.
As mentioned previously I am in the process of updating our guild website with all the raiding information and strats I can find for MoP. I already have most of Mogu’shan vaults committed to memory, just the last 2 I need to work on a little more.
I have done a couple of the Heart of Fear bosses, mostly committed to memory – they look like fantastic fights! Can’t wait! But I have done nothing about the middle raid yet. Yes I have been slack. But committing that many bosses to memory is hard work let me tell you 🙂
All this raiding information has made me literally wanting to raid. I want the kill and I really want to see us do it – I don’t want to fail as a raid leader, I want to push people to be better and I want to be better myself.
This of course brings me to my mage. I sucked at arcane, I am now sucking at frost and I am going to try fire at some point over the next few weeks – probably whilst levelling? I am feeling very very uncomfortable on my mage and completely out of depth. I was hoping a run in DS would help me practice the frost rotation and in all honesty I was pathetic. For someone with my gear I should be kicking arse. Is this the end of my mage? Have I really come this far to not be able to do another xpac on her?
NO NO NO NO NO!!!! I will not give up just because shit got hard! If I stop playing her its because I want to…not because I can’t handle the changes! SCREW YOU no self confidence!! I’ll show you!!

Also found out the store I am picking up my collector’s edition from – isn’t having a midnight launch like they have every other xpac..so now I am going to just go to work on Tuesday, pick up my copy on the way home and get Wednesday off instead. No midnight launch for me 😦
I spent last night’s shut down, updating our guild forums with strats and info for the MoP raids coming up 🙂
Yes, I am slightly obsessed about it all. I really want the guild to succeed and push content. I doubt we are a server first kind of guild, given I don’t know what kind of time levelling is going to take, but I would hope we can kick some butt early.
The bosses I have been putting up there don’t seem all that difficult and I honestly believe a solid group can get through them easily enough. Now if we could just find a tank and some DPS!
I was having fun watching videos and reading notes and then coming up with a strat from it all. I have missed starting new content 🙂
I am so excited that MoP is 2 weeks away – I must find out about the midnight launch as I need to finish paying for my copy etc, I also have to organise to have the Tuesday off since there is no way I am going to work that day! Oh I am so excited!!

The current plan, so I am told, is to just raid Wednesday nights from 7-10pm Australian Eastern Standard Time until MoP details have been released and confirmed etc. We want to use this time to build up the guild, the rapport within a raiding team and to produce a group that can be progression focused. When MoP is released and we have a raiding force at level 90 we only want to add one day to the raiding times, but will depend on amount of content released and how well the team works together to get content cleared.
We are wanting people who can play their class and watch timers at the same time, who can get out of the fire and who can actually be part of guild life – including running older content for others in the team or for shits and giggles occasionally.
We are not recruiting AFKers, loot focused people or those who cannot spend their own time looking into boss fights to know what is expected of their role during that fight.
Non raiding, social members are more then welcome as well. Most of the guild is made up of couples (at the moment) with all bar one of us being over the 21 year old bracket. We are not tolerant of bullying! Be warned though we can be quite filthy and have trouble getting our minds out of the gutter.
The aim is to get our numbers up before MoP and our guild level up a little bit, we are almost level 2 now.

My beautiful warrior finally hit 85 this morning!! YAY! He was my second toon ever created after my mage 🙂 He was a she at her original creation but is now a tauren boy.
I don’t really have any plans for him, I just wanted to get him maxxed so I can maybe run some dungeons and just have some fun. I enjoy my warrior – nowhere near as much as my mage or my druid, but I enjoy thunderclap and Stromstrike far more than I probably should!
Anyway, I logged onto my priest to start levelling her, since I am at work I can’t run dungeons, so am just questing, which can get boring! I got a message from the hubby so I took a few minutes to read that.
I was refreshing my screen last night on MMO-champ so I could sink my teeth into some information, and was a little disappointed to be honest…there wasn’t all that much new stuff up there. Yes, there was some…but most we were told at Blizzcon…so meh really.
I love the new girly pandas – they may be my new draenai (most of my toons are draenai). I like their pudgy but sexy shapes 🙂 The couple of faces in the screenshots are cute as well.
I am wrapped about the extra toon slot, as I was just last week trying to decide which low level toon was never going to get played again to make room. This way I can finish them off instead of deleting them! Although in honesty I would have just moved it off server if I got desperate.
I am still reading up on the information as so many sites are putting everything out there – as you would expect. I did have a brief read of the Monk talents and I love the Ox charge thing….sounds cool, but the rest sound like normal sort of talent things – until we see animations etc 😀
I read on WoWinsider briefly something about mini farms? Sounds fantastic if it isn’t a joke….maybe…LOL…but then I am not entirely sold on the battle pets…I liked my non combat pets and collecting them – I didn’t need to be doing anything with them.
I was reading as much as I could before we started raiding, which in the end didn’t happen because we were short again. I put some feelers out there for an alliance of sorts with another guild who are also short, and when the GM and I brought it to the guild for discussion last night, I basically got told “no way” to an alliance. So, I am guessing from the reaction people would prefer not to raid at all if we are short.
Ok, I should be fair and give the full concept – we are always 2-3 short for raiding at the moment. What the guild wants is to just whisper this potential other guild and pull people in when we need it, and vice versa, they can whisper us and see if anyone wants to raid if they are short.
The two problems being we raid roughly the same nights and we have more consistent players then they do…So I can understand the guilds concern about us moving and altering our team just to fit in one or two more people…especially since they raid slightly earlier as well.
GAH!!! Sometimes I just wish guild recruiting was easier 😀
Let me start this post by stating right here and now…I dislike Blizzard’s idea of making it impossible to choose what talents I want!
They have added some absolute crackers to the trees and I am drooling with anticipation….
I am going to put myself in the group of “meh”.
I love Blizzcon and I do enjoy my live stream and all the other stuff that goes on, I have always found it enjoyable, however I am outgoing to lose sleep over something like that.
They will have more again and if it means we can actually have MoP out faster I am all for it…well sort of…I am in no hurry for mop – we are still trying to clear DS…hell we are only on 5/8 and we don’t look like we will be getting through it anytime soon.
I don’t really get into the whole egame thing, so it is going to be a quiet year for me on the Blizzcon front….
