Sunday Share: WoWjuju

I have been visiting WoWjuju since I can remember – it is my lifeline to all things reputation.

I would be devastated if this site ever goes offline or disappears.  There is a handy little button on the side that says “reputation calculator” and OMG – You are a genius for this!  You do the usual character look up and then select which faction you want to know about.

The information there is amazing.  Quests, hand ins, loots, who to see, where to go, want to to do…”Do you want fries with that?”.  I am an achievement chaser as most of you know and this site makes it more bearable to chase reputations.

They have great news updates as well and all the other things you expect on a wow site, but the reputation calculator is my love and I visit that site at least weekly, more if I am actively chasing a reputation.

If you are into reputations gains and getting more achievements – make sure you drop past.  It is well worth the time and you will not regret it!

Sunday Share: Guildox

My hubby pointed out this site to me the other day – Guildox – as one that he uses religiously and I have now jumped on the bandwagon.

there are plenty of sites out there that deal with BiS pieces, and I have used so many different ones, but I think Guildox has the easiest interface and user friendliness of them all.

When you head to guildox, make sure to click on loot rank at the top, then select your class and spec on the right hand side in the yellow box.

I set all my filters to remove heroic raids and pvp stuff and then voila – a clear concise list of what gear I need to get, enchants, reforging and gems all in the one place.

Whilst raiding this is handy as I can just keep it open and flick through the slots as gear drops and determine their relevance for me without wasting too much time. Especially since, I can if needed, steal loot from spirit wearers – I want to ensure it is worth it 😀

Check it out anyway!!

Day 10: Favourite Blogs/Websites

It has been a while since I have had a chance to do another one of these posts, so I figured now was a good time as any.

Favourite websites – is a very easy one for me, I only have a small amount I like to go to for WoW related information that I am sure 6,000,000 million other people go to 😀

Here is a non exhaustive list:

WoWbash

WoWinsider

MMO-Champ

Blog Azeroth

WoWhead

Of course there are many others I go to for information, but not that I visit almost daily like the above 5 sites. There are also others that are no longer running that I used to read religiously, like magecraft, officerchat and the list goes on of the places that are no longer running 😀

Favourite Blogs

I honestly have too many to list here with links – it would seriously take me hours to write this post.  My blog roll needs an update with the new ones I have started reading recently – but they are all in my google reader or I have subscribed to them via email.

These are just a few of the ones I have in my feed:

Shattered, clearcasting, Bossypally, Treebark, empowered fire, Jaded, guild mum, non-squishy heals, rage quit, postcards…..the list goes on 😀  I don’t tend to comment on many posts – I like to read though. I tend to be too embarrassed to comment on posts because they seem to all be able to write so well and actually have awesome blogs…mine is sort of sub par compared…. There are also a fair few who no longer have public blogs (or have stopped) and as with all things it comes and goes 🙂  I was really disappointed to find snarkcraft the week before they decided to go off air…!!!

Anyway, this post has now made me realise I need to update my blog roll to be inline with my google feed 🙂

I do love the blogs out there which are more personal and just a telling of the lives of others in guild and out.  I enjoy knowing others are succeeding, failing, pushing, achieving etc – it gives me inspiration, laughter, sadness, anger and all the things that make this game – and having networks fun.
