I am going to put myself in the group of “meh”.
I love Blizzcon and I do enjoy my live stream and all the other stuff that goes on, I have always found it enjoyable, however I am outgoing to lose sleep over something like that.
They will have more again and if it means we can actually have MoP out faster I am all for it…well sort of…I am in no hurry for mop – we are still trying to clear DS…hell we are only on 5/8 and we don’t look like we will be getting through it anytime soon.
I don’t really get into the whole egame thing, so it is going to be a quiet year for me on the Blizzcon front….
I am sure every single WoW blogger out there is probably madly typing up posts with images and more detail than I am, but I wanted to write down my thoughts and feelings whilst they were still fresh 🙂
This is now my fourth Blizzcon via virtual ticket and once again I was happily surprised with information, I tried as much as possible leading up to Blizzcon to avoid any wow sites for fear of leakage and I didn’t want to know beforehand – which I later found out there wasn’t much this year leaked anyway.
Check your emails people, I just got sent mine during the night for my Blizzcon Deathy 😀
Can’t wait to get home and log in to see him!!
Have been a little slack lately with the updates I know!!
I spent all weekend watching Blizzcon and was a little disappointed to be honest. We didn’t really get any new information and very little about Cataclysm…would have been nice for those of us not in the Beta to have some information about the things currently happening (in my personal opinion – others will no doubt disagree).
The costume comp must have been rigged, the 5 crappy outfits made it finals…no offence if you were one of them..but compared to the Twin Valks (the second ones), the first spirit healer, professor putricide and rotface, the group of three playing wisp, spirit healer and dead pally and the three as Arthas and his chronies, the chick in all white for spacecraft, the engineer from spacecraft, the moonkin…..just some relaly creative ones this year which didn’t seem to even get a mention….oh well….
That isn’t to say we didn’t get a lot of information or interesting thinsg from Blizzcon, it was awesome….I didn’t see the closing ceremony as the live feed shat itself and would not play.
The feed this year was awful!! We spent more time trying to get the damn thing to play than actually watching it. Many complaints on twitter about it as well.
I did learn some valuable things about some of my classes, ie ways they intended for things to be used/played..so that has helped in the last few days.
Now onto decision making for the guild and deciding what we are doing, where we are going etc then to start getting it happening 😀
What did others think?
Just ordered my virtual Blizzcon ticket!!!!
GOing to try and work out of we can strea, the feed direct to the TV via the Xbox 360 – and if we can’t do that we may just plug the computer into the TV and do it that way 😀
