Oh yes, I killed your Sha, I collected your masks, slayed your Mantid, threw your damn stones and farmed your striped Melons!!!….and then I finally – FINALLY got your damn bag!!

Whether I pay 7k for a mount in the near future is yet to be seen!  But you my dear August Celestials can go and…well…just go somewhere away from me.

I despise you for providing such crappy amounts of rep and taking forever to get through…the bag is an upgrade of 2 slots…it isn’t worth the hassle you have caused!

On the upside I had made enough cloth for 2 bags, so one for me and one for hubby. I may be able to make another one tonight…we shall see!

I am so glad I have gotten to exalted.  No I have Kirin Tor/Klaxxi as my main ones next.  Then it’s the horrible Timeless Isle and Operation Shieldwall – if I can bring myself to do them.

I will start doing the dailies on another toon now as hubby is still not exalted, but not on my mage, I am done.

I am coming for you….

Stupid Pandaria Cooking…stupid obsession for having things maxxed out on my mage…stupid vegetables…yes….all stupid!!  However after spending another couple of thousand gold I am finally making headway into the cooking!

Stupidly (seems to be the word today), I forgot about using the DMF to get 5 points until my hubby reminded me and since the last one I have been doing the SW daily cooking quest to level instead of making the required food.

Yes…that is everything I have been working towards…Finally!!  But not one to stop when I am having a good day, I managed to get the following as well :

 

 

 

And sometime after getting that done, I realised how close I was and decided to get this little gem because I was dying to get rid of that quest for making a best friend on my farm.

Sadly, she doesn’t actually do anything useful, I was hoping she would you know..actually work on my farm :p

Either way, I have a few more to go, I need to do some fishing and stockpile some more money 🙂  But I have maxxed cooking in my sights!

Brawlers Guild

I am no longer a Brawling Virgin.  I decided to just jump in today and see how badly I could fail.  Turns out…I did better than I expected I would do.  I am currently level 6 and it really didn’t take all that long. I stupidly, attempted a level 7 mob from the start and I think I was a little confused about  how easy that one would be.  I had a quest from my garden which gave me a challenge card….after dying about 4 times, I decided I would just start from the beginning 🙂

Bruce was so darn easy…I was fine up until I got to :

It took me about 10 attempts to kill him, I was so frustrated by the end of it, but I kept getting caught in his ground effect even though it looked as though my toon was well out of the way – clearly blink doesn’t work as well as I expected :p  In the end I kicked his butt!!!!

I did manage to fudge through one boss, for some reason, someone was in the ring fighting their boss and I got pulled in for mine – at the same time – but when the other guy killed his mob it counted towards me having killed mine.  Confused?  I know I am still wondering how that happened, it was completely weird…

Hubby decided to come and join me as well, and we were cheering each other on as you do.  I do love the cam view you can use which makes it look like you are right in the arena with them…pretty cool really.

I will definitely be going back to the brawlers guild, it was a lot of fun and gives you some other small thing to challenge yourself with.  I like it. A lot!  Anyone else out there doing this?

Saturday Scenarios

Hubby and I went a little crazy today and we ran scenarios for the better part of the morning to get the lovely Saturday achievement, during which we managed to get a fair few other achievements.

I actually really like scenarios, quick little events that are fun to do.  I want to do some heroic ones, but at the moment I am still working through the normals.

So here are the achievements we got today for the scenarios, I must remember to investigate the other achievements that are available to be done:

 

 

I didn’t realise there was an achievement for doing Theramore’s fall at 90, but there you go!  It really only took us about an hour to get through all of the scenarios needed for the Scenaturday achievement, I can’t really tell because we were doing other quests in between.  Fun though..really fun!

 

55 reputations and Jurassic park!

I cannot believe I managed to get to 55 exalted reps! The black prince got me over the line!!

I am still miles away for any of the others I am trying to get to exalted, now I just need to start collecting some valor points. I only need another 2000 of them! Everything is a slow build in this game 🙂

I also found out, finally, what Jurassic park was. I have seen so many people talk about dinosaurs and the park I was starting to get really annoyed by not having any bleeping idea what anyone was talking about. I finally found it and died a few times roaming it, but was pretty excited to finally see it? White raptor….I am coming for you now!

We were supposed to go to a flexi raid tonight but it didn’t happen but hopefully I will get to do one this weekend if time is permitting! Blizzard should offer a cheap option for moving multiple toons as it is so expensive, we are being really careful about our decisions. I am itching to raid again though….really itching!

I am also on the hunt for a podcast to listen to, nothing wrong with the multitude out there, but they are mostly US based which makes it hard for me to want to get involved. I can’t go to live shows or get involved because of time zones and I wish there were some oceanic podcasts, so far I have only found bind on equip, and I really struggled to get through the last episode of that. Anyone else have some thoughts, I have some leads from my question on twitter so I have to download some and give them a go.

Shado-Pan and challenges

WOOT!!  Shado-pan exalted!!  Pretty excited to be honest – how could you not be after everything.

However the gorgeous mounts you get for exalted rep are a must have.  I bought them all (of course) and aside from the issue I have with the tail, they are very nice to look at – remember I am completely in love with any pussy cat mounts!

I also did the Defender of the gods quest and scored the grey cloud mount, which is pretty nice, but I still prefer my blue one.

This now puts me at 54 reputations at exalted.  I am currently still working on August Celestials (grrr) and have started working on my Anglers rep currently Friendly I think, I also have Klaxxi and Kirin Tor at Revered – but haven’t been doing the dailies for them much, I am just needing to do something else for a little bit.  I am using my farm to do August Celestials and Klaxxi/Kirin for the moment.  I do want to get back into the dailies, but some of them (kirin tor) take sooo long with so many quests it drives me slightly batty.

My warrior makes the cut!

My baby warrior is finally 90!

I have very special feelings for both my mage and my Warrior as they are the same toons I have had since Vanilla, they have gone through moves, changes and factions with me and are the only two characters I have had since then.  My priest was created in BC, and she is the next oldest toon I have.

My warrior started out as a my wait toon, back in the day before btags, when you had to be on a toon that people could see you on to get credit for DKP.  I never really leveled her all that much, I more sat around in the main cities chatting to the guildies that were waiting with me, but I could never let her languish because of that connection I forged with her.

So she makes the 4th toon to 90 that I have and is now mostly decked out in Timless isle gear already, I had three pieces which I took off my pally (shoulders, legs and boots) and whilst opening chests I found braces, gloves, chest, trinket, helm and ring…not too bad for a about 40 minutes of death…yes I was getting my butt handed to me by all the rares 🙂  I only mention the gear because I found this achievement quite funny when I got rid of one of my rings :

That is for superior items with a minimum of 333 in all slots…That’s where I was at gear wise trying to kill mobs on the Timeless Isles…just think about that for a moment….333!!  Crazy…that is me 🙂

I also laughed when I got this achievement when I landed…Clearly I have no idea how I managed to actually get to 90 doing so few quests??  I must have done dungeons for one levelling period or something??  No idea…

Comparatively my mage has done 7946 quests according to the statitics tab 🙂  I love it!

So deciding what toon to level next?  Shammy who is already 85 or hunter or priest…soo undecided….

And the dailies keep on spinning

You just have to find interesting things to do when you are doing the same things every day, so chasing achievements is what we are doing…some times…when we remember 🙂 Nothing much has been happening other than just playing with toons and keeping busy with the huge amount of stuff I still want to get done before any new xpacs.

“Dog pile” to get started, wish I had a picture of 30 mobs on me and arcane explosion going off!  I have to get the one with the field of fire/swords, but I honestly have no idea how i am going to do that one…more investigation needed on that front. You have to do it and take no damage?? Whaaaa????

I also scored a shado-pan achievement I didn’t even know was there! I love the surprise ones the best! Yes, I felt incapable of trimming my dragon out – that would be blasphemy!

We also finally decided to get this dinosaur, Eros, killed, it has been in our  logs for a few weeks as he was killing us really quickly when we attempted it last time we decided to leave it until we had better gear or an actual group.  We happened upon someone mid kill and decided to help him out with it, turns out he was willing to do it a second time for us as well.  It was an awful fight and I am dreading doing the  next part which requires us to summon another 4 mobs!!  Anyhoo, shout out to Candaris on our server for helping and being awesome enough to help us with the kill.  You are super special and we really appreciated it!

I have created a little lowbie Tauren monk to run around on with the frostiness, being sick with shingles as I am, I am pretty tired and effort required to play at 90 is more than I can handle.no idea how far I will go with it, but it gives me something to just veg with.

 

Paladin got to the top!!

Woot!  My sexy pally chick made it to 90!!  So happy about that, not only because it means I am max level with the frosties and can actually do stuff with them now, but I also scored a sweet arse achievement, which I was no even aware of previously…I wonder if there are more for getting more toons to 90…I should ask Owl, he has like 11 I think he said…complete nutter!!  I couldn’t do it…some classes are just not suitable playing companions for me 🙂

My last part to 90 was spent in dungeons…strangely, Oom said he would come along and when we tried to sign up with him we couldn’t…the LFD system told me he was too high to do normals, and when Oom tried to sign up it said heroics only.  My guess it is ilevel based?  I have to look into it.  I think it is annoying that max levels can’t sign up for normal dungeons….if that is indeed the case.  So, in the end although others had offered to run some normals with me (and forgotten *cough* *cough*) it wouldn’t have mattered anyway.  I will make them pay with heroics though…”sorry I lost my taunt button???”  <insert evil MUHAHAHAHA here>.

Also hubby brought his druid back to Frosties, figured it was easier as it was already in the guild so just did a guild transfer.  He is slowly levelling, I think he is 88 he said?  I was so focused on getting to 90 I was pretty neglectful 😦  But we ran some dungeons together and that helped him get some xp, so all very useful in the end.

I am terrified of having to get my gear sorted, in fact, I spent some time on the Timeless gathering more gear and I basically have a prot set (armour only) and trying to gather enough coins to buy the shield/weapon.  And I spent all the money I had gemming/chanting it up…I am pretty broke now, but thankfully I got to 90 without setting foot in most of the map, so I will just slowly start questing the areas to open up dailies and get me some money to pay for flasks/repairs.

I did create a bank alt so I can offload stuff to the AH and hopefully that will bring in some cash..but it is a slow burn on that.

I asked the Frostie GM what spec my second should be – I have no immediate plans to raid but if I am online and they are short I would rather have my toon ready for it.  Prot will be her main – always has – but he advised DPS was more an issue than heals.  So Ret she is, with her second set of almost complete timeless isle gear, I spent some time on the dummy and was hitting 32k consistently, with half ret/half prot gear, so I think I can potentially increase that without much effort once I start getting gear.  Of course I am nowhere near the hit cap, and my expertise is short of where it needs to be on either set, but I haven’t upgraded any gear yet  (not enough VP) and some of my gear is still really low level.

For reference hit needs to be 7.5% and expertise 15%  – I am apparently slightly over the hit cap…well bugger me…I was sure I was under, which means I can reforge into expertise now and get that sorted 🙂

 

Restore the Balance

Hubby and I have been wanting to do this achievement for a while and although it is simple as cake (which is a lie!!) we just hadn’t done it.

The panda cinematic was, like all the others, superb and really sucked me into the land of dragons!!! This felt like something we NEEDED to do.  Poor crooked Incense holder.  All broken and down trodden by Orcs and Humans and their race wars.

But after a few seconds worth of effort we restored the balance! Isn’t it a stunning visual??

There’s a bear in there!

Today – there is nothing I can say.  NOTHING!

I was inspired to run it on most of my toons until I finally won the roll 🙂 Thank the Blizzard gods for account mounts is all I can say.

I tried to get the original one I don’t know how many times, I am still annoyed I never got it – so this has made me somewhat happy.  I could not stop grinning like a madman!  Thanks for those involved and thanks for getting me inspired before dinner to continue doing it until I had it!

PVPing again

We did some more PVP tonight and I was enjoying myself again 🙂

The last one was Twin Peaks and it was horrible…Badan and Gankfest….my personal death machines basically spent the entire match killing me.  And i mean repeatedly.  I officially hate warriors and rogues – in that order.

However that was just my bad luck, I met a holy pally who had the most incomprehensible name but we are realid friends now so we can do some PVP together.  I was trying to save him as much as he was trying to save me.  It didn’t work so well, but hey he is from Barth and I have never been on a PVP server 😀

So anyway here are the battle read outs so you can see how badly i sucked.  I mostly defended flags and was quote happy with my ability to kill a couple of them 🙂

My resilience is at 799 or something and I only have like 3 pieces of PVP gear, but I have gemmed some of my duplicate PVE gear with some resilience, as an interim measure until I get enough honour points.

I also didn’t realise I had never done PVP on my mage since the achievement system? I find that odd as I am pretty sure I did some….at some point!

 

Update on so much stuff

I know it has been a few days since I updated, I had to have emergency surgery on a re-ocurring problem, and although I am mostly ok, I am still recovering and have been some very bad raiding with great pain killers.

I did Onyxia 25 man with my frosties and some other famous people again, it was pretty awesome 🙂  I scored 3 different achievements. Many whelps, killing her fast and not geting hit with the deep breath…sadly, no mount dropped 😦

Of course, my screenshotter did not take pictures…so I got a new screenshot mod…so sick of the old one not working!!

We also did Ruby Sanctum.  The only raid I have never done, neither had hubby.  I thought it was a very cool fight for the 3 minutes of it that we saw before the boss died!

I was pretty happy finally seeing that one, I have wanted to do it for a very long time. HAPPY!

I also managed to do a laid back raid with JD and do Onyxia on alliance side 🙂  Also fun and very fast, we did it 10 man and she was dead before i really even had one rotation off.  LOL.

Our guild got to level 3!  DING!  and is about 46% through the next level. A certain famous person placed a toon in our guild as well and I got all mental about it…hubby thinks I am insane…but I was hooting like a maniac…just a shame I was in hospital when it happened.

We also went back into DS tonight to get the last two bosses.  We had some trouble on Spine, but in the end got it done.  So we have cleared DS with the guild.  We are going to try for some heroics next week, morchok definitely and also Yorashj and perhaps Ultrax.

I know we are at a 30% buff and that makes things pretty easy, it is still an untested group and we still have some issues to be worked out.  So I think given that, clearing the content is pretty impressive.  We want to get some heroics done before MoP just so we can test out our group I guess. It will also help level the guild, but in all honesty, I am not sure how much longer we will be raiding for anyway since MoP is so close now.   We still need 2 DPS as we are still pugging for raids, but it has only been a guild for 2 weeks I think, so we are not doing too badly.

Anyway, that is all my updates 🙂 Sorry for the long post, but i am still post-op and on good rugs so I have to get everything in whilst I can still actually mostly type 😀

Cross realm raid – BWL

My first proper cross realm raid 🙂  I logged in yesterday morning as I had the day off and got thrown an invite almost straight away 🙂

I hadn’t been to BWL on my warrior 🙂

Scored an achievement, clearly I need to fix my mod as the above is a terrible image…LOL How can I even say what achievement I got??

We took a photo at Nef before we killed him and I wanted to say the 15 minute run through BWL was heaps of fun 🙂  My first cross realm raid was a success!   I like them.

Thanks for the run guys, you all kept me laughing!

Then I listened to twisted nether blogcast with Navimie 🙂  I had to run just before it finished because hubby needed to make a work call and my headphones weren’t plugged in.  It was fun sitting in the chat room with Cymre (!!) and some other guildies just chatting away.  The noodles though.  THE NOODLES!!!!  I swear, most painful hour with those ads!!

All i need now is lotto :)

Awesome day today!

My beautiful warrior finally hit 85 this morning!! YAY!  He was my second toon ever created after my mage 🙂  He was a she at her original creation but is now a tauren boy.

I don’t really have any plans for him, I just wanted to get him maxxed so I can maybe run some dungeons and just have some fun.  I enjoy my warrior – nowhere near as much as my mage or my druid, but I enjoy thunderclap and Stromstrike far more than I probably should!

Anyway, I logged onto my priest to start levelling her, since I am at work I can’t run dungeons, so am just questing, which can get boring!  I got a message from the hubby so I took a few minutes to read that.

My death chicken is finally 85 🙂

I have not really been pushing to get there, but I have been playing her when I can.  Ever since Vanilla Wow and I saw someone in IF, I have been wanting to level a boomy, but I just couldn’t hand levelling a druid…

This is only my third alt to level 85, and I am working on my priest now, thinking of levelling her holy actually as my first ever healing toon 😀

I have no current plans to use my boomy for anything other than LFR at this stage, however my level is far too low yet ….so heroics…here I come 😀
