Yeah, I am a complete hypocrite, I know! I keep saying I hate LFR and yet I am always in there. For all the crappy attitudes you can find in there, it is still a great way to get experience, try out toons and score gear.
Even if you are the bottom of the dps.
Ultraxion trash….just thinking of it brings tears to my eyes. I didn’t mind the old trash, I swear it was fine!!
This new style has the guild bested. I suspect the tanks inability to actually hit the mobs makes it harder than it needs to be; but I kid you not, tonight was the first time we have actually gotten past it after less than an entire night wiping first.
The rub being it resets Tuesday night and we have to do it all again 
Are any other guilds finding this trash is actually easier; and are your tanks having trouble hitting the dragons?
However aside from all that – I TANKED ULTRAXION – yes yes 
and not in LFR either I was a little excited about it
I also did a couple of heroics on my Druid and….I can now do LFR I will possibly get booted for crap dps, but I can certainly have fun trying. I really enjoy playing boomy – almost as much as I enjoy my mage. That’s a bold statement if I say so myself!!!

It has been a while since I have done a shared topic, I have been away from Blog Azeroth for far too long and I hope like heck it picks up again, so here is my attempt at helping that
The reasons behind my transmog!
I am reminded that I did not post about our raid on Sunday….omg…it was well worth a mention to
We have lost a healer and a tank somewhere to the maelstrom. So we need to recruit – anyway with only 9 available raiders online we decide to at least start DS – we 9 manned Morchok and 2 healed him.
We then trundle off to Warlord – 9 manning does not work with 2 healing simply because of the ball debuff. 4 people cannot handle the damage in our raid group. So we switched a DPS to a healer which makes it slightly more manageable. Slightly!
Another DPS turns up online, YAY – so we grab them in and set off again for an attempt, which we balls up (excuse the pun) and then one of our other DPS dc’s…..so we wait around a few minutes. With the thunderstorms and rain in Australia at the moment we figure he will be back….after 15 minutes we decide that he is not going to be returning….
I then decide to come up with a crazy crazy idea to just bring in one of the level 85′s in the guild to just be a soaker as our dps is good enough to kill the boss, but not our stamina…we could 9 man the rest of this wing.
So that’s what we did. Poor druid! he did very well for hardly any explanation of the fight and told to just stay on the marked toon and run like mad when advised.
We did 9 man Skittles boss before we got the druid in, and we almost did better than when we have a full raid team 
So now, we have to recruit more people again. Just two people, one healer and one dps…someone who doesn’t mind wiping or doesn’t mind just having a laugh and isn’t progression focused….that last bit is the killer….
All in all we had a good raid night I think – I mean, 9 manning 2 bosses Sweet!! and 9.5 manning the other 2 was awesome
I decided to jump into LFR this morning on my pally as a healer…I have been gearing up her off spec as heals and was dragged into a heroic the other night (shadowfang) – that was my second time healing anything. So LFR was my third time. My level as heals is not enough to get into, but because I have all my tanking gear which isn’t too bad – it bumped me up enough.
I will in future not cheat using that kind of methodology. There was one person in the LFR just giving me shite for having such low his – from memory – approx 8k his….according to this wonderful priest he used to get more in bWD….and as i said to him – congratulations, I am so proud that he was such a great player.
He not only brought it up constantly, but got worse each time we killed a boss and then when i won some gear – OMG he went public with it , which – I am glad to report most everyone told him to stfu. The responses he got were varied about taking lfr to seriously, that I just sucked and to deal with it that perhaps my gear wasn’t good….it’s no wonder players who are nervous about jumping into raiding don’t come back if they are not sure what they are doing – after that guys tirade, it is no wonder you lose your confidence – and yes I now he is just one wanker in a sea of thousands….but I just wish some people would take 5 minutes to remember that some people behind the avatars are new to the classes they are playing and not old pro’s. There was a pally healer in there doing huge healing…I was in awe….and he just kept saying that no one had died so who cared…I like that theory
So here is the rub, it was my third time healing anything with lower gear than what I should have been in – but…how in gods name do you get any heals off in LFR….I had huge over healing – almost 15% most of the time. I am thinking my haste is just too low and my cast times too long, in the end I was just throwing everything i could and still failing at any good healing. BUt some of the time I just stood there doing nothing because none needed healing…felt a little useless really….
I did score new wrists though
We are still stuck on blackhorn in DS, and we have been suffering from the attendance boss; it has been a week since we raided.
So, to get my wow fix I am trying to find some more blogs and podcasts to get involved in. I jumped on blog azeroth for a few minutes the other day, but will try to add more time over the next few weeks.
What I have noticed, or maybe I just need to read/listen a little more, but ….is anyone stuck on normal DS!?!?!? Has everyone killed deathwing?!?
Are there no guilds out there struggling like us blogging and being involved on podcasts?!?! Do the ones struggling not get out there?
I am intrigued.
Let me start this post by stating right here and now…I dislike Blizzard’s idea of making it impossible to choose what talents I want!
They have added some absolute crackers to the trees and I am drooling with anticipation….
I just went through my links page and deleted over half of the WoW blogs I had listed there as they are no long being updated.
I need more again…..
Any suggestions would be appreciated; this does give me a valid excuse to get back into my Blog Azeroth love again though I have missed being over at BA, but I have just been so busy with other things I don’t have the time to dedicate to it….It makes me sad. I miss a lot of people and a lot of blogs.
