  1. I can relate a lot here.

I am one to have always had the in-game music/sound as a priority. Only ever turning it down enough to hear vent and such.

Let me guess what video you found MDI from – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6p1_8yyHj0o&feature=related – 4.45 it starts. (Not original author)

If so, then join the majority of us that did. Liked them since. With that, most of my favourite bands come from WoW movies. Mostly PVP ones. In fact, it introduced me to Rock music, and many other genres, as a whole!

Now, until I have played particular content a few times, I will refrain from putting music pn. But once I’m visiting an area/zone or doing a particular activity (dailies) I may allow myself to plonk on iTunes :)

Interesting post. I also found Three Days Grace through various movies!

    • Gah!!! That video won’t load on my iPhone! I shall check it out when I am back, however it was a video showing of gm powers from memory???

I am the same regarding when to start playing my own stuff – you do get to a point where you have heard some stuff enough that you can move on.

Movies are also my other source of new music – soundhound is a damn saviour now! Hubby and I are constantly using it to find out what bands are what :)

      What’s your favorite band find?

      • It certainly is! See, I knew it XD

Hmm.. I quite like Static – X at the moment. Found them in Need for Speed Underground and some WoW PVP movies haha!
